LAZAWO June Update - Supportive Community Comes Together for Animal Outreach

Thank you to Dr. Zacharia, Dr. Yusuph, Dr. Sr Rosamystica, and translator Samson. Their recent mission to Masinono in Musoma was nothing short of extraordinary. This dedicated team collaborated with local animal welfare officers and government officials and received a warm welcome from the community. Their efforts led to the treatment of 223 donkeys, with 39 receiving specialised care for wounds and 60 owners educated on proper donkey care.

Animal Nepal Dukuchhap Animal Sanctuary June Update - Monsoon Hits But Sanctuary Animals Are Right As Rain

The sanctuary is particularly happy to share the remarkable progress of Paulie, an injured horse. Paulie has been steadily gaining weight and showing significant improvement.

Nowzad June Update - Horse Recovering in Hospital and Compassion for Animals

Nowzad's phenomenal team and vets have made a significant impact in Kabul, caring for 153 horses, 2 donkeys, and 10 livestock. They treated 13 horses with injuries from ill-fitting harnesses and addressed a major issue with skin parasites affecting 50 animals. They helped a horse with a deep neck wound, which received hospital treatment, while another had a painful tongue injury from a poor-quality bit.

Starting Over June Update - Rescue and Recovery for Donkeys Saved from War

In Gaza, war and neglect have left many donkeys injured and traumatised, but the Hope Compound run by Starting Over, is providing care for 56 donkeys. Generous donations have enabled the rescue of 168 donkeys from Gaza so far. Notably, Victoria, a female donkey, arrived in critical condition from years of hard labour and Sunday, a young foal rescued from a dangerous area in Ramallah, is also on the mend after suffering from exhaustion and mistreatment.

HIS Equine Care Quarterly Update - Lifesaving Care for Equines and New Hope for A Distressed Donkey

Help in Suffering cared for many injured horses and donkeys - improving health and wellness. HIS equine vets treated 19 animals for colic, impaction and wounds for working animals in India. They also did hoof trimming and administered vital tetanus shots and dewormers. Plus, 3 rescued animals find their forever home with Animal Aid Abroad's sponsorship program, thanks to our supporters donations!
