Life-saving Treatment and Equine Health and Well-being
Throughout this quarter, seven equine cases were attended to at the HIS campus, covering a variety of conditions such as colic, tick infestation, eye tumors, laceration wounds, anorexia, and diarrhea. The team also managed the Luniyawas camp, ensuring the welfare of these animals.

In November, AAA supporters made a profound impact by helping Nowzad’s Working Animal Program deliver care and support to animals in Afghanistan, improving their well-being in the face of challenging conditions.

Nowzad Donkey Sanctuary in Afghanistan looks after several permanent residents who have been rescued from the typically difficult conditions for working animals in that country. Here you can see the donkeys who are being helped by generous donations from our supporters as well as some recent work on improvements at the sanctuary.

Your Support is Helping Camels: Treating Severe Eye Injuries and Colic
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and kind donations, the Camel Rescue Centre (CRC) team continues to provide life-saving care to animals in need. In November, a total of 19 outreach clinics were held, providing incredible care to 420 camels. Recently, the team tackled several challenging cases, offering assistance to camels in remote areas.

Efforts at the Pushkar Fair Showcase the Transformative Power of Kindness
Help in Suffering (HIS) is deeply grateful to AAA’s generous supporters, whose donations made it possible to care for hundreds of camels at the Pushkar Fair in Rajasthan. This annual event, held every October-November, is a vibrant celebration of culture and tradition in the ‘Thar’ desert, attracting traders and thousands of animals from across northern India.

Welcoming New Project Partner: Animal Aid Unlimited
We are excited to announce our new partnership with Animal Aid Unlimited, based in Udaipur, India. This inspiring organisation rescues and treats unowned street animals who are ill or injured, while also fostering compassion and advocacy for animal welfare within the community. Their sanctuary provides a loving forever home for dogs, cats and farm and working animals, including donkeys.
We will be supporting this incredible work by sponsoring handicapped donkeys and those rescued from abuse at their sanctuary. Our funding will go directly towards their care and rehabilitation, ensuring these gentle animals receive the love and support they deserve.

OAWT Oct/Nov Update - Caring for 100 Donkeys and Horses and Fixing Poor Fitting Saddles and Bridles
Thanks to your support, the Okavango Animal Welfare Trust (OAWT) team was able to deliver veterinary treatment and care to 100 donkeys and horses in the villages of Samochima and Xhauga, Botswana. Over two days, OAWT’s dedicated vets and farriers provided essential hoof trimming, treated injuries and guided farmers in caring for their animals' health and comfort…
