VSPCA India - Giving abused working water buffaloes safe haven and care

With temperatures soaring above 40 degrees Celsius and humidity at 80 %, VSPCA in India are making sure their rescued buffaloes are getting the proper care they need

With their Sanctuary ponds now dried up, the staff have to give the buffaloes a physical bath by hand using coarse leaves, water and mud. The buffaloes not only need this treatment but they love it too.

Pradeep, Founder of VSPCA said it’s very challenging keeping the buffaloes coats healthy without proper ponds for them to wallow in but these baths done by VSPCA staff are the next best thing.
