An update on the winter coats for Nowzad
Some of our supporters may remember from last month’s newsletter that our partner group Nowzad, had noted the rescued animals living at the sanctuary as well as the working animals treated in the field were suffering from the very cold nights with no blankets or coats, or at least insufficient make-shift blankets cobbled together with rags.
With your help, Animal Aid Abroad funded the purchase of a number of proper winter coats made in Kabul, and these coats have now begun to be distributed to both the sanctuary residents, as well as the neglected working horses and donkeys in need that Dr Reshad visits on his clinic rounds and at the brick kilns.
Thank you to our generous donors for helping to make a difference to the lives of these animals in need.
