Animal Nepal Dukuchhap Animal Sanctuary - April 2023

All donations to AAA go directly to our partner groups on the ground and one of these groups, Animal Nepal, have sent us a report on their April 2023 activity at the Dukuchhap Animal Sanctuary:

Given our yearly struggles to vaccinate our animals, this month we finally built a travis so that the larger horses and mules can be safely restrained while being vaccinated and also for their health checks, hoof treatments etc. This saves our staff from having to run around after the animals and also makes the whole process safer for both humans and animals.

Our three donkeys Sangeet, Samir and Bruna seem to love the new mural as they are always by the wall. Perhaps they are attracted to the bright colors but we just can’t seem to be able to get them away from the wall! The rest of our animals are all doing well and enjoying grazing on the green grass brought by the arrival of the rainy season.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Animal Aid Abroad supporters for their continued financial support in the running and maintenance of the sanctuary for our rescued equines in Dukuchhap.
