Help in Suffering (HIS) Camel Rescue Centre (CRC) in Bassi - July Report

Help in Suffering (HIS) Camel Rescue Centre (CRC) in Bassi have sent us their July Report:

Case-1

We got a call from a camel herd owner Maan Singh Rebari from the village Hingonia. He has many camels, and he keeps them in the forest for feeding. Whenever their herd is near to the roads, where our vehicle could reach, they call us for check up treatment. The people who keep camel herds are known as Raika or Rebari. When our CRC vet reached there, he found that the camels were suffering from mange, stomatitis, tick infestation, some wounds, abscesses, and trypanosomiasis etc. All were treated accordingly. The owner was so happy as we saved his financial loss.

Case-2

On another day we rescued a camel from a village near Jaipur. This camel was found abandoned. The camel was sent to CRC, Bassi. This camel was suffering from a wound on the left hind limb. Antiseptic dressing was applied with fly repellent spray. Appropriate antibiotics and painkillers were given. In a few days the wound was healed. The camel regained health with good nutrition and proper care.
