Kurdistan Organisation for Animal Rights Protection (KOARP) November update

The Kurdistan Organisation for Animal Rights Protection (KOARP) have sent us their November update.

During the month, they provided veterinary assistance to approximately 1,225 animals, many of them with diseases requiring antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. There were cases of wounds needing attention, hoof issues, worms, and general vaccinations as well.

There were also 17 nasal protectors provided for donkeys and horses.

Unfortunately a number of the animals requiring treatment were due to neglect from their owners.

The outreach program for the month of November benefitted 66 people across 16 villages and helped to improve the welfare of the many animals treated.
