LAWCS in Guinea - October Report

AAA partner group in Guinea - LAWCS have sent us two case studies from their October activity:

Case study 1:

Story 1:

Sekou Kromah is a resident of Dalaba. He is a farmer and depends on his donkeys for survival. He also rents the donkeys to other farmers to generate income for his family. Our team visited and saw one of his donkeys in a very sad and poor health condition. The donkey had a wound from the cart which was also in very bad condition. Our team immediately started providing intensive care to the donkey and at the same time educated the owner about the health and welfare of the animal. The donkey has been able to fully recover from the wound .

Case study 2:

In Madina, Lasana Kamara is a strong farmer who depends on his donkeys for livelihood and sending his children to school. One of his donkeys has constipation and couldn`t eat for 3 days. He immediately called our team to help stop his animal from dying. Our team immediately went there and administered treatments that helped to cure the animal. The animal is now doing great.

Our services are supported by Animal Aid Abroad Inc to provide the much needed care and treatments for animals in remote communities where there is no other services for the animals.
