At last, Badshah is safe at Gurgaon Sanctuary

Our partner group, Friendicoes, recently came across a weak, malnourished approx.17 year old horse with many wounds over his body.  He was used as a wedding horse. To add to his suffering his cruel owner was still working him and refused to give him rest. The Friendicoes team knew they had to rescue this horse so a decision was made to offer compensation, jointly with AAA funds, to the owner. We have now secured his release from his owner. His ex-owner will be monitored closely if he should get anymore horses but he has been encouraged to start another business.

Great news this horse, named Badshah approx 17 years old + has now been rescued and now safely at the Friendicoes Sanctuary where he will never be mistreated again. He will get the food, shelter and vet treatment he needs. The team also report his wounds are now healing, and feed supplements and health tonics provided by the team are making him stronger.

A very kind donor from South Australia has taken out a full sponsorship of Badshah from January 2020.
