Treatment Approaches:

In-Field Treatments: Hernia required surgery, wounds, limping, and general weakness.

Hospitalisations: Required in cases of severe injuries, malnutrition and gastrointestinal (GI) problems.

In addition, on one particularly successful day, 55 horses were dewormed and 20 donkeys and horses had their hooves trimmed, ensuring their comfort.

The scorching heat of July brought challenges, and many animals suffered from harness wounds. The combination of intense heat, sweat, and dirty harnesses caused painful sores. The team observed this and worked to ease their suffering.

Three horses needed hospital care. They battled jaundice, arthritis, and respiratory issues. The Nowzad Vet Teams gave them the extra care they needed.

This important work was only possible because of you. Thank you for supporting us and the Nowzad vets.
