Nowzad Working Animal Programme, Kabul - April Update
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every one of our generous donors for contributing to another busy month for the Working Animal Programme in Kabul with partner group, Nowzad.
In the month of April, not just horses and donkeys were treated. The mobile clinic team rescued an injured kestrel and thankfully was able to release him back into the wild thanks to your support.
Your donations enabled the mobile clinic to vaccinate and treat 66 horses, many of which had harness wounds, and provide respiratory treatment to 16 goats.
We've attached a couple of videos from one area where a large number of horses were brought in for treatment. Dr. Reshad is doing an excellent job of engaging with the owners.
Shortly, Nowzad plan on making up first aid kits using AAA’s kind donation to distribute amongst those owners taking an active interest in maintaining the health and welfare of their animals. Stay tuned for this update.
