Animal Nepal December Report 2023

Animal Nepal have been a longstanding recipient of the generous support given by AAA donors. Following is a report on their activities in December 2023.

We had another group of students visit us this month from Swosteshree Gurukul School. The kids really loved spending time with our donkeys in particular and our donkeys also loved all the extra attention. We look forward to welcoming more children in 2024 so that more kids can learn about animals in an environment where they are respected, loved and cared for.

Paulie, one of our horses had her hooves trimmed this month. She has a missing eye so normally she doesn’t like people getting too close to her but when it comes to grooming, she is always surprisingly docile. All our animals are in good health and enjoy spending time outdoors in the sun during the day as the temperatures can get quite low in the night.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Animal Aid Abroad for their continued financial support in the running and maintenance of the sanctuary for our rescued equines in Dukuchhap..
