TAHUCHA Report December 2023

The Tanzania Humane Charity (TAHUCHA) extends its appreciation to AAA donors and supporters for helping them to improve the health and welfare of working donkeys in the Bukombe district.

In December 2023, the TAHUCHA team conducted a mass donkey tetanus vaccination in order to prevent tetanus in the population of donkeys at Bukombe district which are severely affected by the disease.

During this month the TAHUCHA team also vaccinated 320 donkeys, 128 donkeys at the sanctuary and 192 donkeys from the community. The target of this project is to vaccinate 3000 donkeys within the Bukombe district. This is an ongoing project through to February 2024.
