Liberia Animal Welfare & Conservation Society - June 2023 Report

The Liberia Animal Welfare & Conservation Society (LAWCS) is one of the groups which AAA is able to support, thanks to the generous donations of our supporters. LAWCS does amazing work with the many working animals and their owners in various remote communities in Guinea, and the team wants to extend their profound thanks and appreciation to you, our donors, for the continued financial support that made it possible for the group to provide the needed care and support for thousands of working animals.

From January to June 2023, around 3,722 working animals (donkeys, horses and cattle) received direct veterinary care and 5,856 people (schoolchildren and animal owners) participated in the animal welfare education programmes.

LAWCS is the only organization in Guinea providing free veterinary care for thousands of working animals and animal welfare education for schoolkids and their parents in many communities in Guinea. LAWCS is only able to provide these services as a result of your support.

 The second phase of LAWCS continued services starts from July to December and together with your support, will always be there for innocent suffering animals that need attention and support daily.
