Kurdistan Partner Group KOARP August Update

The Kurdistan Organisation for Animal Rights Protection (KOARP) recently rescued a horse which had been abandoned on the street and had obviously been very neglected and malnourished. Dr Sulaiman and his team rescued the horse and found a gentleman who would adopt this horse and give it a new, safe home.

The team supported the new owner for 15 days, helping to treat the horse’s many wounds and ailments.

After a time the team came back to the village to check in on the horse and provide the necessary medication, vitamins and pain killers.

The horse is now in a much better condition and is happy and healthy in his new home.
