Animal Nepal Dukuchhap Donkey Sanctuary - April Report

The monsoon season is upon us at the Animal Nepal Dukuchhap Donkey Sanctuary, which means our animals don’t get to graze out for as long they would like due to the heavy rainfall. It is however very good for the growth of their grazing grass, so when the rain stops, they have plenty of fresh, green grass to graze on. The rainfall has also slowed down our building work, meaning we have not yet been able to move our bulls Kumari and Arun into Dukuchhap, as their shed has not been completed yet.

None of the sanctuary animals have experienced any health issues and they are all doing well. We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Animal Aid Abroad for their continued financial support in the running and maintenance of the sanctuary for our rescued equines in Dukuchhap.
