Camel Rescue Centre Bassi - November 2021 Report

The Camel Rescue Centre, based in Bassi have sent us two case studies from November 2021:

Story-1

In village Kanota, our team was providing treatment to the gathered camels. An owner, Asaram reached out to us for the treatment of his camel’s nose.

He told Dr. Jitendar that he had purchased this camel at very cheap price and want to heal the wound completely as soon as possible.

The wound was large with the nasal bone exposed. The CRC team cleaned the wound, applied the antiseptic ointment and antibiotics and painkillers administered. We advised to prevent flies. The owner was very happy.

Story-2

One owner Shrawan Meena from village Bassi came to our Camel Rescue Centre for the complaint of lameness. His camel was lame in the right front leg and showing pain on walking on gravel road.

We found that there was a small wound in which small stones were lodged. We cleaned the wound and bandaged. Medicines were given and he was advised to keep the camel at rest till the wound healed.
