LAWCS in Liberia - November and December 2021 Report

AAA partner Group LAWCS, based in Guinea, Liberia have sent us two successful stories for the months of November and December 2021

Story 1:

Selekie is a 16-year-old boy in Kankan. He and their family donkey ``MAYLA`` serve as source of income for the family. Selekie and MAYLA go around collecting garbage for money. Selekie and MAYLA also transport other goods for people and in return they get money. It is this money that sustains the family. We met Selekie and MAYLA with a wound on the back of MAYLA. According to Selekie, MAYLA developed the wound because of carrying garbage and goods. We immediately recommended treatment, educated Selekie and the family about the care of MAYLA. MAYLA has recovered and they are now living happily.

Story 2:

Mr. Kamara has cattle that he uses for his agriculture work. One of the cattle was wounded by an unknown person and Mr. Kamara immediately called upon us to help save the life of his cattle that is serving as the source of income for his family. We immediately responded and provided the best care and treatment, and the cattle has greatly improved, and Mr. Kamara and his family are so happy.
