Help in Suffering (HIS) Camel Rescue Centre - July Report

One day during July, when the HIS team was getting ready to go to field, they received a call from village Dhuleraoji. They said that their camel was left open to graze and it went to hilly area. When it came back it was bleeding at its hind leg. She must have cut her leg with barbed wire. The CRC team decided to go to that emergency case before all other cases.

When Dr. Jitendar reached the location, he found that there was a ruptured vein bleeding. The wound was large so he sutured the wound under sedation and bandaged. Oral medicine was given and the owner Raju was asked to keep the wound clean.

The total number of animals treated during the month is 574 with 262 camels treated and 33 animals held at the sanctuary at the end of the month.
