With the Walk Across Australia on temporary hold while the team quarantine at the WA border, we have reached an amazing $114,882.25 towards the fundraising goal.

152 working animals rescued

95 major and minor surgeries performed in the field

8 veterinary assistants educated

300 equines attended to by a farrier

41 water troughs distributed

14,160 animals benefited from the distribution of clean drinking water

1251 blankets, padding, nasal protectors provided to working equines

303 humane harnesses made/padded for working animals

327 cart reflectors and plastic nose pegs distributed for working animals

22 humane carts now in use for working donkeys

130 donkeys, mules and ponies in India, and stray donkeys across 71 villages in Kurdistan being fed during Covid-19 lockdown

9794 people or families directly benefiting from working animals

161 villages directly benefiting from working animals

206 educational sessions held on proper welfare and care of working animals

9 schools visited for humane education

6314 children and adults reached via humane education

Over 1 million members of the general public reached regarding humane handling, care and treatment of animals via multimedia strategies

59 rescued animals being sponsored by Animal Aid Abroad supporters.
