Art for Animals Auction! 🎨✨

What a beautiful spring day it was in Perth on Sunday, 14th September, as we celebrated the exciting closing function of Animal Aid Abroad's 2024 Inaugural Art for Animals Auction!

Our amazing AAA volunteers did a fabulous job displaying over 150 stunning pieces of art, ranging from photography to painting, pottery, metalwork, and quilting. Along with enthusiastic online bidding, a lovely crowd gathered to view the works and place their final bids. It was such an incredible atmosphere!

We raised close to $9,000

There were some real steals to be had, considering the calibre of the art and we're excited to share that thanks to the generosity of our wonderful bidders, we raised nearly $9,000! All funds raised go directly to help working animals in our project areas of Asia and Africa with feed, shelter, veterinary care, or being rescued from dire working environments to live out their days in the peace and comfort of a sanctuary.

A big shout out to the AAA committee for the delicious refreshments, to Barb Hacker from The Island at Elizabeth Quay for her generous wine donation, Hugh Torpy for the PA system and The Atwell Gallery for providing such a beautiful riverside venue at the serene Swan River!

A massive thank you to all artists who donated their incredible works and supporters who made this auction possible
