Help in Suffering (HIS) Camel Rescue Centre (CRC), Jaipur, India -Meet our new sponsor animals

Thanks to the generous support of AAA donors, partner group Help in Suffering (HIS) have been able to add 16 new animals to the sponsorship programme. This includes 9 camels and 7 equines

9 new camels

These new 9 camels are all females. Most had terrible wounds and were saved en-route to a slaughterhouse. Ranu, Anju, Gita, Pushpa, Radha, Puja, Sona, Sita & Manju 

Meet the camels at CRC

RANU

Ranu is a blind female camel of the Bikaneri breed. Despite her blindness, she displays remarkable resilience. She arrived at CRC with a wound on her left forelimb and is distinguished by her black coat.

 

The following 8 female camels were rescued from Purnia, Bihar. They came with different wounds and their lives were saved when they were on the way to a slaughter house.

ANJU

Encounter Anju, a regal 13 year old camel adorned in a beautiful brown hue, boasting a prominent hump. She emanates both grace and strength, showcasing resilience in the face of past challenges.

 

GITA

Gita, an 8 year old brown camel, who enchants with her serene nature, despite overcoming a nose peg wound infested with maggots. Her spirit shines brilliantly, surpassing any adversity she has encountered

PUSHPA

Pushpa, a 9-year-old camel with a gentle light brown tone, emits warmth and optimism. Despite enduring a nose wound, her unwavering spirit symbolizes the triumph of resilience.

PUJA

Puja, a 10-year-old camel adorned in a remarkable brown coat, epitomizes elegance and poise. Despite facing challenges, she embraces each day with a quiet fortitude that inspires all around her.

 

RADHA

Radha, a 13 year old camel, proudly displays her rich brown coat, a testament to her enduring endurance. Her journey exemplifies the inherent resilience of these magnificent creatures.

SONA

Sona, a 13 year old camel boasting a distinctive black-brown coat, captivates with her robust hump and unyielding spirit. Despite enduring deep wounds, her resilience shines brightly, offering hope for her future.

SITA

Sita, a 12-year-old camel with a gentle light brown hue, mesmerizes with her well-built hump and steadfast spirit. Despite extensive nose peg wounds, she exudes resilience and fortitude.

 MANJU

 Manju, a 9-year-old camel adorned in a reddish-brown coat, triumphing over adversity with her unwavering spirit. Despite a significant nose peg wound, her grace and resilience inspire all who cross her path.

7 new equines

 BAADAL (Horse)

 A male horse, approximately 5 years old, with a striking brown and white coat. Baadal is sociable and tends to approach people easily, though he has a habit of kicking and occasionally biting suddenly.

 LAILA (Mule)

Laila is a female mule, estimated to be around 10 years old, boasting a mix of white and brown colouring. Despite having permanently curved legs, she is known for her agility and good running abilities.

 DHARAM (Donkey)

 Dharam, a male donkey about 7 years old, was initially rescued at HIS and later transferred to CRC. He has a blackish coat and arrived at CRC alongside Veer.

 VEER (Donkey)

Veer, a 9-year-old male donkey, exhibits a distinctive black and white appearance. He was originally rescued from HIS and now resides at CRC.

 YAARANA (Donkey)

 Yaarana, a male donkey around 5 years old, features a black-brown coat and is known for his exceptionally friendly nature. He joined CRC at the age of 16 months and is particularly submissive.

 LILY (Donkey)

 Lily, a female donkey, was born within the premises of CRC and is currently 2 years, 6 months, and 24 days old.

 MARIAM (Donkey)

 Meet Mariam, a female donkey adorned in a brown and white coat, born within the confines of CRC approximately 3 years ago. Sadly, she lost her mother at a young age, but her resilience and spirit remain unwavering as she continues to thrive in her surroundings.

That brings our total of camels and equines sponsored at HIS to 20 animals.

With your generous and ongoing support, these sweet and loving animals have been saved and can now live a life free from cruelty, from danger, a basic animal right.
