Two New Partners for Animal Aid Abroad- CUPA and WRRC in India
Animal Aid Abroad is proud to partner with two incredible organisations in Bangalore, India, dedicated to caring for animals in urgent need.
Compassion Unlimited Plus Action (CUPA) provides essential services, including sterilisation, trauma care, public outreach and adoption programs. Through this partnership, we will fund life-saving operations and provide relief for working animals - rescuing cows, bulls, ponies, donkeys and horses from neglect, abandonment and injury. Outreach clinics will also bring care directly to animals still used for transport and labour, ensuring they receive compassion.
In many developing communities, these animals still serve as essential labour, supporting transportation for goods and people. While modernisation gradually transforms these areas, the need for immediate care and compassion for these creatures remains urgent.
CUPA has transformed thousands of lives and Animal Aid Abroad takes immense pride in supporting their ongoing mission.
We are also partnering with The Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre (WRRC), which protects and rehabilitates wildlife in Bangalore. WRRC provides medical care, shelter and advocacy for elephants, reptiles and birds, working to rescue captive elephants once exploited for labour and entertainment. Our support will help give these elephants the care and freedom they need to heal and live safely in a nurturing environment. This vision perfectly aligns with AAA's values.
These programs are strengthened by the generous support of Philip Wollen, whose commitment to animal welfare has helped bring these efforts to life and ensure they reach those who need them most.
Animal Aid Abroad eagerly anticipates collaborating with WRRC and CUPA sharing updates on the extraordinary, impactful work these organisations are accomplishing in India.
Your valuable donations and contributions to AAA will now help more animals around the world in dire situations, providing them with relief and hope, and possibly restoring their trust in humanity.
