Sanctuary Animals Experience Only Care and Kindness
Part of our mission at AAA is to help fund beautiful sanctuaries around the globe that are rescuing and caring for working animals in need. Thanks to your compassionate support, these animals can find freedom from hardship and experience peace, safety, love and kindness.
Please read on for the latest update from one such sanctuary you are helping to support - Animal Nepal’s in Dukuchhap.
This month, the team successfully administered Foot-and-Mouth Disease and Lumpy Skin Disease vaccines to their buffalo, Lakshmi; bulls, Prawin and Kumari; and cow, Kaali, as part of their routine preventative care. It was no small task - almost all the animals at the sanctuary have made it very clear they're not fans of needles! But with a lot of patience (and a bit of chasing), the team pulled off a smooth and safe vaccination round.
With the warmer weather slowly settling in, the animals - and their hardworking caretakers - are enjoying some much-needed relief from the winter chill. All the furry residents are doing well, and the team are stepping into April with renewed energy and an ongoing commitment to their wellbeing.
Thank you very much for your ongoing donations, which makes it possible for Animal Nepal to care for each of their sanctuary residents with love and dignity. Together, we’re creating a sanctuary where animals are celebrated and cherished as family.
