Help in Suffering Came Rescue Centre January 2024 Report
Help in Suffering (HIS) are supported by the generosity of AAA donors and they have sent us their January 2024 report on the Camel Rescue Centre in Bassi.
Here are the two case studies and one case from our clinics-
Case-1
Vikram Singh is a camel owner from Raika tribe. He lives in Alwar. After calving, one of his female camels was in trouble. She was not eating properly and was dull in appearance. A discharge of pus was also coming from vagina.
So, the owner called our team of CRC for this problem. Dr. Jitendar attended the camel and provided with medicated intra-uterine flushing. Antibiotics, Anti inflammatory were also given.
After two days the owner called and told that the discharge was stopped and the camel started eating properly.
Case-2
One day when our team reached the village Sambharia, a camel owner Chandalal met with us for a deep saddle wound at the back of his camel.
It was a very extensive and painful wound. We cleaned the wound, drained the pus and applied the antiseptic ointment. Painkillers and antibiotics were also administered. The owner was advised to keep the wound clean and to provide rest to the camel for 2-3 weeks. We also gave him oral medicines for further use.
A Case from clinics
We attended many cases in our daily clinics and in the monthly camp. An owner Mahadev came to our clinic as he purchased new horses for general checkup. Both horses were alright so they were dewormed for their good health.
