Kurdistan Organization of Animal Rights Protection - April activity

Dr Sulaiman and his team at the Kurdistan Organization of Animal Rights protection (KOARP) has, as usual been travelling to various villages and communities in the Duhok Province to monitor the status of the working animals in the area and provide treatment, food and equipment as necessary to ensure their health and welfare.

During the month of April, the KOARP team was able to treat 1,937 different animals for various ailments, as well as providing education and awareness to community members on the proper care and treatment of their animals.

Some of the animals treated included donkeys, mules, mares, stallions, sheep, goat and cattle, and shepherd dogs.
