Choco and Vanilla Cookie saved from busy roadway

We had a happy ending recently at our partner group in Israel, the Pegasus Sanctuary when a family fortunately noticed two adventurous donkeys from the desert getting dangerously close to the busy road nearby. After many near misses, they reached out to the team at the sanctuary. This family own many animals themselves and know how dangerous unlit roads can be for them at night.

The family helped the Pegasus team round up the two donkeys as they were very afraid to come near humans. Ivri, the little boy named the donkeys Choco and Vanilla Cookie due to their colouring.

Choco and Vanilla Cookie joined the residents at the Pegasus sanctuary surrounded by many rescues with similar stories.
