Relief for hungry animals after quakes on Gili

With massive thanks to our generous donors and supporters, more feed is getting through to the hungry animals on the Gili Islands.

It's been a busy week on the Islands (Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno) with lots of feed being delivered and distributed to hungry horses and other animals.

Grass, Vital pellets (higher protein feed), rice powder and cat food is now being supplied to all islands.

Thank you to Femke from JAAN, Delphine and Sarah who have been organising shipments and their staff to assist with shipments and distrubution. Also thanks to Tori, Siany, Tina and Patzy who are on the ground distributing food and making sure animals are being fed and watered.

Four Paws vets have been on Gili Trawangan this week treating injured animals.

We are waiting to hear if they are needed on Gili Air, last report in was there were only minor injuries reported and medications were sent by boat for owners to treat.

Fortunately Gil Meno have a retired vet living on the island so animals have been treated there.
