Mother and foal now adopted

Dr Sulaiman from the Kurdistan Organization for Animal Rights Protection (KOARP) has sent us some details on a case that he recently dealt with involving the rescue of a female donkey with her new born baby.

Locals told Dr Sulaiman that the owner had abandoned the mother and baby, and upon searching for them, they were found in the Bamerni area.

There was a fear that left alone, they would fall prey to wolves in the night, so a family in the Glbish village kindly adopted them. KOARP will cover all food and medical supplies needed by the donkeys.
