Sumi, a female dog aged around 10, first joined us in February 2011. We found her on the streets of Patan, more dead than alive.Sumi suffered from cancer of the uterus and severe skin problems. Molly is a very lucky girl, she was close to be being put down as her injuries were so serious. She is now safe, and is receiving care for her badly damaged back legs. She was hit by a car, and was suffering greatly on the street as she dragged herself around on her lifeless limbs. She now wears special doggy shoes and bandages to help her wounds heal, and despite all this she is a very happy girl, and loves the attention she now receives.
