Star Volunteer - Dianne Lawrence

Dianne Lawrence has been with AAA as treasurer and membership co-ordinator since almost the start, which is a bit over 2 years. By profession Dianne is a bookkeeper so you can imagine how elated we were when she agreed to join us. She has surpassed all our expectations by keeping our books and finances in top notch order and accuracy. Dianne puts in endless hours and effort into her role as well always offering an extra hand at events.

Last year Dianne made a trip to Egypt where she saw first hand the plight of animals in this country and came back with added drive and enthusiasm to help AAA in its goals.

Tragically just before this newsletter went to print, Dianne lost her beloved cat- Chantilly who was 15 1/2 years old and had been with Di since she was a baby. Chantilly was attacked and killed by 2 dogs. Our hearts and thoughts go out to Di at this difficult time.
