Star Volunteer - Barbara Stephenson

I am a singer/songwriter/guitarist and lover of animals. I currently perform solo and also sing in a Bush Band. I originally come from the Midlands in the UK and was one of the last of the ‘Ten Pound Poms’ sailing on the Orcades to my new home Australia. I joined AAA after meeting Janet and hearing all about AAA's dreams and plans. This year I joined the committee to be a little more hands-on and organised AAA’s 1^st Quiz fundraiser. I really admire Janet and all the members and volunteers of AAA who I will continue to help as much as possible. In the picture you can see my pets – my dog Joli who was a rescue from the Pound and TwinkieWinkie who was a rescue from a battery farm. I also belong to IFAW, PETA, Animals Australia and PACAT.
