Star Volunteer - Gaye Reeves

A lifelong animal lover, Gaye has long supported various animal charities and causes. Also a member of The Cat Welfare Society of WA and past Committee Member and President of Cat Haven, Gaye is especially passionate about felines.
Her cat friendly home has cat furniture in the family room and a large cat enclosure with a climbing gym for the two resident ‘panthers’ !

A senior nurse, Gaye met Janet via her father, Alan, who also works at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital [SCGH] in Perth. “After Janet and I talked and I recognised the amazing work that she and her small team were doing I just had to be a part of it.” “There is something about people who are passionate about animal health and welfare that forms an instant bond.”

Working in such a large institution as SCGH I have a ready made population of animal lovers to tap into for raffles and fundraising. I hope to be able to continue to contribute to AAA and assist in the achievement of our shared vision.
