Star Volunteer - Densie Schokman

AAA's Star Volunteer for October is Densie Schokman. Denise volunteered many times this year to man our raffle stalls at various shopping centres around Perth including collecting money on our Street Appeal Day in October [pictured]. She did a wonderful job selling lots of raffle tickets and receiving lots of donations. Thank you Denise.
Denise not only helps us but she also works tirelessly to help the Ruby Benjamin foundation, Free the Bears, Bali street dogs and IFAW [ International Fund for Animal Welfare].
Denise and her husband David have lived in Australia for 35 years after migrating from their home country- Sri Lanka. Their family have always had pets including a monkey [when she was young] who used to groom her Pomeranian dog. I am sure this pooch thought he had died and gone to heaven!!
Denise strongly believes that the most important thing in her life is to be of any assistance at all when it comes to helping animals who cannot speak for themselves.
AAA has been very fortunate to have Denise on board as a member and a volunteer. It is our gain and we are very appreciative and fortunate.
