Volunteering in Animal Aid Egypt

I'm a Swedish girl who moved to Alexandria, Egypt in the beginning of November. By chance I found Animal Aid Egypt on internet and sent them an email. I got a warm and welcoming email as reply and since then I have been volunteering with the organization.

I like to be volunteering here and I think the organization is doing a very good job, since many animals from the street are in need of help. What I'm doing here differs; sometimes I'm documenting the actions with my camera, sometimes I'm assisting in operations.

I grow up with animals and for me it's very nice to be able to volunteer with an organization which directly is helping the wounded animals from the street. Another positive point is that the staff and other volunteers are very friendly and I always feel welcomed.

In short I can just say that the organization is doing a very important job and I hope that more people in the society will get to know about us.
