AAA protests to the recent cruel killing of Pigs in Egypt

Animal Aid Abroad wrote to both the Egyptian Consulate in Canberra and also to the various ministers concerned with this atrocious cruel killing of pigs in Egypt as a result of the h1n1 flu [ incorrectly termed the swine flu/virus].

Animal Welfare groups including our recently formed branch in Egypt- Animal Aid Egypt are pushing very hard to get legislation passed in parliament so in future this kind of cruel killing never happens again.

Egypt needs animal welfare laws, at present they don't have any, we need to pressure the government into passing these laws which have been ready and waiting for 2 years.
